Hayfield Village Hall exterior 2

Hayfield Village Hall first opened its doors in April 1965.  It was built with funds raised by villagers and village organisations.  It is still quite literally “owned by the village”. The Hall is available for hire by anyone, individuals or organisations.  It can be hired on a regular basis or just for one-off events.  Currently the WI, and various Yoga and Pilates groups are “regulars” but the Hall is also used by local artists, pop-up shops, coffee mornings, and kid’s parties.

The Village Hall is run by a committee of 7 trustees:

  • Lyn Samuel (Chairman)
  • Mike Sherstone (Treasurer)
  • Pete Webb (Secretary)
  • Jo Chessell
  • Matt Chessell
  • Lisa Bevins (Parish Council representative)
  • Denise Wilkinson
